Here is my 2nd recipe card for the Recipe Challenge over at
The challenge this week was Strawberry Lemonade...Since my goal with this challenge blog is to organize and get my recipes into a book...I wanted to use a recipe I have just laying around on a scrap piece of paper....and not try to come up with a recipe to fit the challenge....so the closest I could come was this Frosty Lemon Chiffon Pie.
This is a super good pie! A few years ago, some of my friends and I decided to do the "cooking once for a month" program...where we each put together 12-15 meals in one day and froze them. This pie was a recipe from that event. The pie does freeze very well..if anyone is interested in doing that...but it doesn't last long enough at my house to make it to the freezer!Since I found this recipe in my drawer last night..I think I will have to make one tonight!
