Hi....how have you all been? It has be super hot here in St. Louis...so this weekend I decided to stay in a participate in the Papertrey Ink Stamp A Fare! Boy did I have a good time, this was my first virtual stamp camp! I learned so much and thought I would share some of my projects with you.....
First up is the 1st project for the day!
Didn't this turn out great! Nichol demonstrated how to create your own background paper using the exclusive stamp set for this day.
Next up....was the Mini Album challenge....for my mini album I made an album that I will put my grandchildren's school pictures for this year in when they return to school this fall!
Didn't it turn out so cute! I just love those crayon stamps!!!! Those are from a stamp company that I recently found called Stamp for Life! They have some really cute stamps.....
On to the next challenge.....
This is the card I made for the ribbon challenge....one of Nichol's design team members demonstrated how to gather ribbon behind a felt circle to create a really cute flower!
The next challenge was a "limited supply challenge"
Nichol gave us a list of supplies that could be used to make our project....
Next project.....a stationary set! Wow! this one was really cool.....the stationary holder is made from a paper bag! Genius is all I can say!
and here are the cards that go inside...again a really fun technique!
and for my final project for this post....we were challenged to make our own embellishments...
There are some more projects that I want to complete...I just ran out of time....I can't wait until next year's camp!

Hi my crafting friends! My niece is coming in town this weekend with her new little girl! I can't wait to see her! So, of course, I had to make a card! What kind of crafting aunt would I be if I didn't! I am using a stamp that I have had for a very long time...I'm not sure the company is still around..but they did have the cutest stamps!
I also used a really fun element on this card, the little baby image is held in place with a "wobbly" I think that is what they are called...it's basically a little spring. So when the card comes out of the envelope it wiggles around...very cute!
Thanks for stopping by today, have a great week!

Hi all my crafty friends!!! Well, I have been gone for such LONG time! I have had some medical issues and work related issues...but I should be back now! I have missed creating and I have missed all your sweet comments!
Yesterday, I attended the CKC convention in Collinsville, IL and discovered a new stamp company..at least to me! "The Stamps of Life".....these are just some of the cutest stamps I have seen in a while! Take a look at this card...it is stamped using the set called "birthday4cookie".....I just fell in love with this little doggie! He is so stinkin cute.....I just had to have him. I thought he would make a perfect birthday card for my sweet little granddaughter Brooklyn who will be turning 5 next month.
The card base is the new "flip" card from Sizziz. This is the square card...there are several to choose from, but I thought this one to be the most versatile.
So this is the front of the card, and watch this.....
When you pull the card open....the square "flips" to the other side.....This is such a fun card!!!!
Well, I am off to work on Wedding invitations for my daughter, she will be getting married in August....
Thank you all for sticking with me...and let's start having some crafting fun again!

Hi everyone! sorry I have been MIA for a while...my job just seems to take over my life at times!
I did need to make a Thank You card, so I thought you all might enjoy seeing the it also.
I also needed to make my Grandson a 9th birthday card! So I thought I would share that one also.....
I colored both cards with Copic markers, the birthday card is stamped using some Bo bunny stamps I had in bag that I purchased a loooong time ago and when I went to clean up my craft room I found them! They are really cute....
Well, I hope you enjoyed the cards today, and hopefully I will be back sooner this time!
Hugs to you all and have a wonderful day!

Hi all my crafty friends! I have been so busy this weekend working on a baby gift for a colleague of mine....they have just adopted a little girl! So I wanted to make them a few little things for their new baby...
The first item is a baby bag...I have been making these for about 5 years for my nieces and nephews and friends that have babies. My daughter still uses the one I made for Brooklyn 4 years ago! They are very large and are great for overnight trips.
The 2nd item is a burping cloth. I used the same cloth from the baby bag for the front side and a prefold diaper is the back.
The last item is a crocheted hat! I LOVE this little hat! I found the pattern on Pinterest! Just love that site!
and you know I just had to make a baby card to go with this gift......
The stamp image I have had a long time, I don't remember the name of the stamp company and I don't know if it still exists...but it sure is cute!
Well, thats it for now...have a wonderful week!
