Happy Halloween

We spent last night carving pumpkins, here is the one Bart made. He is very proud of it! When the Nolan and Brody come over tonight to trick or treat, I will post a picture of them with their pumpkin they carved.

Lauren send me pictures of Coy and Brooke so I can post also.

Have a safe and happy halloween!

My first challenge card

Here is my first challenge card. This is from the Splitcoaststampers site for the Wednesday sketch challenge. I scanned this card in, the colors didn't really turn out to great! I used PT Ocean Blue cardstock and PT Shimmer white cardstock and the PT Build a Snowman stamp set.

Not to bad for my first attempt. Heres the same card taken with my camera....still not the best, I haven't gotten this down yet...oh well..I'll get there.

Thanks for looking....

My first card post

Here is my first attempt to post a card. I'm am still working on how to take the best picture to showcase the card, but wanted to get something posted today. So until I figure out the best lighting, and display of my cards, this will have to do.

This is a sample of a christmas card that I am thinking of sending out this year. What do you think?

The recipe is: PT cardstock, Poppy and Ripe Avocado. PT 2008 Holiday Tag Collection stamps and PT Poppy ribbon. I also used the SU scallop border punch, which I just love, and punched holes in the scallop part so it would look like lace.

For my first post, I want to show you a picture of my grandaughter Brooklyn. I made this Tinkerbell costume for her to wear on Halloween. Isn't she cute!
The costume was pretty easy to make, the TuTu just completed the outfit! The wings I purchased at the Disney Store before it went out of business here in town.

Well, I finally did it!

I started my own blog! I don't quite know what I am doing, but I will give it a try. I hope this will give me an outlet to showcase some of my creativity and communicate with my family members across the country.

I want to join in with some of the others out there in blog land that participate in stamp challenges. I will begin to post mine here. So be kind with your comments, as I am just starting out.
