Our Creative Corner Monochromatic Challenge

Happy Saturday! Today over at the OCC we will be making monochromatic cards!

You can incorporate as many colors of one shade into your card as you would like. You can also use neutrals (white, cream, kraft or black).

I decided to use SU ink, Really Rust and create my own background paper using several different stamps from PTI. I stamped "off" on some of the images to create a lighter shade of the color. I added a row of rhinestones around the sentiment to set it off! This was a fun challenge!

Besure to jump on over to the OCC and play along with us this week!

Have a great weekend!

  5. Beautiful card, Cindy. I like how you used numerous shades of browns in your monochromatic card. I tried to do that, but didn't really achieve it on mine. I am so impressed with how you create your own background paper. I'm a little lazy and use DSP - LOL!! But you are inspiring me to try my hand at creating my own occasionally. TFS your beautiful work!
