Well, on Saturday it wasn't so bad when we woke up to about a inch of snow in Branson MO. But we were sure surprised when we started our drive home to St. Louis the snow we would encounter! This is a picture of the snow from our window at The Big Cedar Lodge, before we started our drive home. Pretty, right?
Well, then we hit the big snow storm on Highway 44 home and what a mess we encountered. We ended up sitting on the highway for over 5 1/2 hours....what a mess. These are some pictures when we were just sitting on the highway.....no fun!
We ended up staying the night in a town named St. Roberts, where they received over 10 inches of snow! We were able to make it home the next day where there wasn't any snow at all! It was all very strange...glad it's over.
