Driving home from Branson!!!!

Well, on Saturday it wasn't so bad when we woke up to about a inch of snow in Branson MO. But we were sure surprised when we started our drive home to St. Louis the snow we would encounter! This is a picture of the snow from our window at The Big Cedar Lodge, before we started our drive home. Pretty, right?

Well, then we hit the big snow storm on Highway 44 home and what a mess we encountered. We ended up sitting on the highway for over 5 1/2 hours....what a mess. These are some pictures when we were just sitting on the highway.....no fun! We ended up staying the night in a town named St. Roberts, where they received over 10 inches of snow! We were able to make it home the next day where there wasn't any snow at all! It was all very strange...glad it's over.

On Wednesday I took a walk around the property...walked for quite a while...up and down the hills...I sure got my workout that day. Here are a few photos I took that afternoon.

Fun At Big Cedar

Well we spent the past few days in Branson MO at the Big Cedar Lodge. The weather was great, 70 degrees the day I took these pictures....We had a nice time, Bart spent a lot of time fishing and I spent my time shopping and relaxing. Here are few photos of the room we stayed in.

Valentine Day Cards

I have been working on valentine day cards, here are a couple I recently made. I just love the new stamp set "lilly" I purchased from Pink Cat Studio. She is very similar to a paper doll. She comes with a lot of accessories to add to her. The 2nd one is also one of my favorites, the monkeys! I just love those guys....Thanks for looking.

Another Papertrey giveaway!

They provide a template on their site and you connect the dots to create a card layout challenge. Valentine Teacher Gifts

Here are the teacher gifts I made for Coy's teachers. The box I just Love!!! I purchased the template from a site online, and made it last night. It was so easy, and turned out soooo cute.

I covered a notepad with matching paper and purchased a heart pen, heart candle and stamp on those Hersey Nuggets! I hope his teacher likes this.

And, I couldn't forget the 2 helpers in his class. I decided instead of a plain old card, they deserved something a little nicer....so I made these hot cocoa covers. You can find those on Debbie Olson website, and it was free! Anyway, I think they turned out cute.

I will be putting these in the mail tomorrow.
