Mother's Day Box

Hi Crafters! I can't believe it is my day to share with you, I am so excited to be part of The Gyptians design team! This is a really fun and talented group of ladies!

For my project today, I made a gift box for a necklace I am giving to my mother on Mother's Day.
It was fun to challenge myself to use the Home Accents and Home Decor cartridges - and I did use Gypsy Wanderings since we are using the Gypsy of course!

Now, on to my project! I am new at doing videos, so mine today are quite long..sorry, but I hope you won't mind. There are 2 videos for each part of the project.

We will start with the box first, this is a screen shot of my gypsy using GW cart to create the cuts for the box...

Now for the flower - this is the screen shot using AE and HD to create the flower and leaves. The base of the flower is cut at 2" and then each flower is cut at 1/4 increments going down. The leaf is copied and pasted and turned then welded.

I hope you enjoyed the videos and you find them helpful. If you would like o have the gypsy file, I am posting it below. If you haven't become a follower of TheBugBytes you should really check it out! There are a lot of great designers lined up for the first 2 weeks of the month!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!
