View Master Card - Project Tuesday

Hi Crafters, Today at Project Tuesday we are making a View Master card.

I have to say, I hadn't made this type of card before, and I didn't think I would like it, but....I think I do!







I made my card using SU cardstock, PTI designer paper and Stamps and Smiles stamps.
The 2nd picture shows the window wheel turned and another sentiment appears....

Episode 10 - A2 card box with cards

Happy Saturday Crafters! Today is Episode 10 in my video series...Today we are making an A2 Card box and 4 cards.

We are using Tags, Bags, Boxes and More for the card box and Just Because Cards for the cards.
Sorry for the length of the videos....I tried to make them a little shorter...just couldn't get in all the details.

Episode 9 Saturday Video Series

Hi Crafters! Today is Episode 9 in my Saturday Video Series. Today we are making a Halloween Treat Box! We will be using the Cricut, and Wild Card and Mini Monsters cartridges.

I think a sugar cookie would fit perfectly in this box, now I just need to get a Cricut Cake so I can make matching cookies!

Throw Back Thursday Challenge

Hi Crafters! Here is my entry for Emma's Throw Back Thursday challenge

The challenge this week is to create a "frame" using the cartridge Paper Doll Dress up..so the flower image is from Paper Doll Dress Up, using my gypsy I hid the small circle that was the center of the flower and added my own from George and Basic shapes. I welded the circle and the flower together and cut out of the hot pink cardstock. The center is yellow cardstock stamped with a stamp from Just Right Stamps. I hope this counts as a frame...

I added the ribbon to look like the leaves of the flower....

Finally finished by Table Quilt

Hi Crafters! Well, I have finally finished by table quilt for fall. This is the first quilt I have actually machine quilted myself. I normally do the quilting by hand, but I purchased a new sewing machine last year and decided to try out the "free hand" sewing on the machine to do the quilting.

For my first time, I am happy with the results. I plan to make a few more of these and perfect the skill of machine quilting...it is challenging.

Episode 8 - Back to School Layout

Hi Crafters!!! Happy Saturday! I am soooo happy it is the weekend...now if we could just have some cooler weather!

Here is my Episode 8 in my video series using the Cricut and Gypsy. This week I am making a Back to School layout. My son and grandson have both gone back to school this week and my oldest grandson will be going back in 2 weeks...so I had to have a scrapbook page to celebrate this important day!

I am also entering this layout into Emma's at Throw Back Thursday challenge.

Project Tuesday - Treat Box

Hi Crafters! Today is Tuesday and we have a new project over at Project Tuesday.

This week we are making a Treat Box. I decided to make my box into a gift holder for my homemade pickles I have been making with all the cucumbers I have gotten from my garden.

I have given quite a few jars away this year and thought this would be soooo cute to put them in.

For my box, I am using SU Cardstock and Designer paper. I am using stamps from PTI that I just purchased at CHA! The stamp set is Friendship Jar, and they have the dies you can use in the Cuttlebug to cut out the shape of the jar and the lid decorations! I think they turned out soooo cute! I love this set!

Episode 7 - Hippo Stand Up Card

Hi Crafters! I am back today with Episode 7 of my video series. This week I am making a stand up card. I know most of you have made a stand up card before, but this card is a little different. I saw this at CHA at a make-n-take booth and just loved it! So I thought I could create the same effect using my Gypsy!

Peachy Keen Challenge

Hi Crafters! Today I am participating in the Peachy Keen Challenge! I purchased some new stamps at CHA and couldn't wait to use them! I also purchased some of Kathy's super cute face's and I will be using those very soon!

For my card, I am using PTI Lemon Zest and Basic Black cardstock. I stamped the gingham using a stamp I purchased at a tradeshow last year, sorry I don't have the stamp name...this was actually the first time I have used this stamp...and I really like it! I used my Cricut to cut out the rectangle with rounded edges after I stamped on the cardstock and then cut 2 more sizes to layer. I also used my SU scallop edge punch on this card, as well as the small oval punch and scallop punch from SU.

The images are, of course, from Peachy Keen...the Bee Happy set! Don't you just love that little bee! He was so fun to color up with my Copics! Thanks Lorie for the personal tutorial using Copics you gave me at CHA! I just love your coloring!

I added white gel pen around the edges of the card and around the scallop. The ribbon and the button are both from PTI.

My Pink Stamper Helpers at CHA

Oh my gosh, I had the most awesome experience while at CHA this week. My Pink Stamper gave a cricut class and I got to be one of her helpers! Such a great time we had, Robyn and Karlee are both so super sweet, you girls ROCK!

CHA! We are coming home today

Hi Crafters! Well CHA is over and I had a BLAST!!!!!! This was my first CHA, but will not be my last! I want to give a shout out to all my new friends I met this week! You are all super sweet and I loved meeting you! I hope everyone leaving Chicago today has a safe trip home!
