Brothers layout using Robotz cartridge

Hi Crafters! I just had to make a layout showcasing my little grandson with his 2 big brothers!
I had so much fun making this layout! I used the Robotz cartridge to cut out the robotz image and the letters to spell "brothers" are from the Songbird cartridge.

I used my gypsy to design the page and to weld the letters together to form the word brothers.

I really love the Songbird cart for the letters! the weld together so easily....

Now, for another really cute picture...this is my granddaughter Brooklyn holding her new cousin!
I just love my grandchildren! God certainly new what he was doing when he gave us grandchildren!!!!!
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day!

Project Tuesday - Book mark Card

Hi Crafters!!!! Today at Project Tuesday

It is a card that has a detachable bookmark! Isn't that a fun idea!

For my card, I am using a dollar stamp I purchased from M a while back. I decided to make my grandson a graduation card from 1st grade. He has done such a good job this year reading, I want to make sure he continues to read during the summer...so this card with a bookmark was just perfect to give him!

This the inside of the card, where the detachable bookmark is. I wanted to make the book mark part of the card simple, since it is going to a 7 year old. I sure hope he likes it!

Make sure you stop by Project Tuesday this week and check out the other design team members cards they are really awesome!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Flower Card - Holiday Cake Cartridge

Hi Crafters! I have been out for a while....dealing with a tooth problem...finally had a root canal, and I am feeling much better!

I purchased the new Holiday Cake cartridge a few weeks ago, and I have finally gotten around to playing with it! It really is a super cartridge, even though I don't have the Cricut Cake, I love this cartridge.

I have created a video for this card, I am still working on the focus with the gypsy...so sorry about that, but I hope the video helps you see how I put the card together using the gypsy.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

2nd Post Today - OCC new sketch challenge

Hi Crafters! This is my 2nd post today, so if you came here looking for TheBugBytes project for the day, please go down to the next post.

Today at OCC weekly sketch we have super fab sketch!

I have a few birthdays coming up this summer for some little girls...so I thought this would make a sweet birthday card. The cupcake is cut from the Hello Kitty cart, and I added some stickles to the icing of the cupcake for some bling! The cardstock is from SU. The sentiment is from PTI, Mega Mixed Messages.

I used by cuttlebug with the bubbles (I think that is the name) embossing folder on the circle cut with my Nesties.

If you have time today, besure to stop on over at the OCC and check out the other design team members cards, they are really super this week!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Mother's Day Box

Hi Crafters! I can't believe it is my day to share with you, I am so excited to be part of The Gyptians design team! This is a really fun and talented group of ladies!

For my project today, I made a gift box for a necklace I am giving to my mother on Mother's Day.
It was fun to challenge myself to use the Home Accents and Home Decor cartridges - and I did use Gypsy Wanderings since we are using the Gypsy of course!

Now, on to my project! I am new at doing videos, so mine today are quite long..sorry, but I hope you won't mind. There are 2 videos for each part of the project.

We will start with the box first, this is a screen shot of my gypsy using GW cart to create the cuts for the box...

Now for the flower - this is the screen shot using AE and HD to create the flower and leaves. The base of the flower is cut at 2" and then each flower is cut at 1/4 increments going down. The leaf is copied and pasted and turned then welded.

I hope you enjoyed the videos and you find them helpful. If you would like o have the gypsy file, I am posting it below. If you haven't become a follower of TheBugBytes you should really check it out! There are a lot of great designers lined up for the first 2 weeks of the month!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Project Tuesday - Altered Tin

Hi Crafters! Today is Tuesday so it is Project Tuesday time!

This week at Project Tuesday we are making an altered tin or box.

For my tin, I used some paper I have had for quite some time, so I don't know the name of it. I used the Create a critter cart to cut the cute little bird and the Give a Hoot cart to cut the words.

I thought I would fill this tin with some candy and give to a friend.

Make sure you stop by Project Tuesday and check out the other design team members samples!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Baby Shower Items

Hi Crafters! Well, we had a great time at the baby shower for my daughter! Here are a few more items I created for the shower....

The gift bag:

The baby stroller cut is from New Arrival cart, it matches the baby card I made in the previous post. The sentiment is stamped from a PTI stamp set and I used my MS large border punch for the white lace looking border. For the bag, I used a premade gift bag in white...I didn't have time to make one myself..and this worked perfect!

The Diaper Cake:

The theme of the baby's room is going to be a Jungle theme...so I decided to decorate the diaper cake to match. I stamped my own background paper using some stamps from Stampendous that I have had for quite a while and then cut into strips and layered onto dark blue cardstock and applied to each layer of the diaper cake.

I cut the baby's name "Logan" with my Cricut...sorry, I can't remember which cart I used...I scanned thru so many that I forgot! I cut the letters out on chipboard first and then with the dark blue cardstock and glued the cardstock on the chipboard. I then punched holes in each letter and strung them to flow down the cake. I always add a few baby items to the cake...so this one has 2 pacifiers, wash cloths, teething ring and a few baby items.

These are really fun to make, the recipient always enjoys receiving them.

Well, I'm off to a day at work! Thanks for looking and I will see you all later!
