Episode 14 - Witch door hanging

Hi Crafters! Today is Episode 14 in my Cricut and Gypsy video series. Today we are making a
Witches door hanging.

I have to say, I didn't think up this idea, I saw Christina over at Creations with Christina where she
made a really cute Halloween door hanging. So I thought I just have to make one! So here is my
version.

Sorry for the length of the videos! I just couldn't shorten any and still give you all the directions needed.

1st layout with Imagine

Hi Crafters! Well, today I created my first layout using my new Imagine!

I am using Nursery Tails....I LOVE this machine! I was able to pull out some images from
a variety of different cuts and they all coordinated so beautifully!

Peachy Keen Guest Designer and Project Tuesday!

Hi Crafters! Well, today is a very exciting and busy day for me! I have 2 projects to share with you!


1st up, I am the Guest Designer over at
Peachy Keen Challenge Blog! Don't you just love the Peachy Keen Stamps! I sure doooo!

Here is my sample for their challenge this week....






For my card, I am using Kraft cardstock for the base of the card and SU Bashful Blue and PTI christmas prints from 2009. The stamp I am using is the Gingerbread man from Peachy Keen. I LOVE this little guy! I host a cookie exchange every Christmas and use the Gingerbread man as the theme to my party every year. I am very partial to him!

Now to my 2nd project today....

today we have a new project at Project Tuesday



For my card today, I am using SU designer paper...I don't remember the name of this pack as it is a few years old. I cut the flower from Forever Young cricut cartridge sized at 3 inches. The cardstock is from SU.

Episode 13 Pumpkin slider card

Hi Crafters!!! Happy Saturday....today I have another video in my video series using the Cricut and Gypsy..I am making a Pumpkin slider card.

I made a cupcake slider card a few weeks ago, and I just loved it..so I thought I would try the same technique with some other images...I think this one turned out just as cute!

I added a little black bow on the top of the pumpkins head..it just looked to plain for me..

Episode 12 - Swim Layout

Hi Crafters! Today is Episode 12 in my video series using the Cricut and Gypsy. Today I am going to show you how I use my Gypsy to create a page layout. I like to use my Gypsy to create my layouts, it makes the process a whole lot easier for me. I hope this helps you too.

Cocoa Box - TheBugBytes

Hi Crafters! I am so excited to be on The Bug Bytes again! Thank you Pam for allowing me to share with your readers! I am having a really good time!

For my project today, I am making a Cocoa Box. I know you all have seen the cocoa packets available. Usually around holiday time, the packets are dressed up a bit for the holiday..So I decided to make a package for them. I hope you enjoy the video and the project.

For my card, I decided to use the "Crafters Companion" I purchased at CHA. I used to to create the embossed scallop edging on the edge of each of the gate folds. I flower image is a PTI stamp. The cardstock and ribbon is from SU.

New Sketch Challenge - OCC

Hi Crafters! Today we have a new sketch challenge at the OCC sketch challenge blog

For my card, I am using Cosmo Cricket paper, and a stamp set from Just Right Stamps. I have just recently purchased some Just Right Stamps they are really fun to play with....Not a lot of coloring on my card today, but it was quick and easy..sometimes that is what works the best!

So, the 3 things I love about myself....


I am a fantastic wife, mother and grandmother

I am a creative person and teacher

I have raised my children to be responsible and loving parents to their children



Here is the picture I love....


This is a picture of my oldest grandson (Coy), and my husband (papa) at the Boy Scouts boat races. Coy won 2nd place, and they were sooooo proud! They both spent an entire weekend working on this boat! We drove 2 1/2 hours to be at this event to celebrate with Coy, it was such a good day to remember.

Ok, on to 5 blogs I would like to pass this award to...

1.) Pinke I met Pinke (Edna) at CHA and spent sometime with her at the My Pink Stamper class, she is wonderful person and is sooo creative.

2.) Lorie Oh, my what can I say about Lorie...she is awesome! I met Lorie in person at CHA, I have been following her for sometime now and it was a thrill to meet her. She is soooo creative and a wiz with the Copics!

3.) Suzie I met Suzie thru the Project Tuesday design team, she is so creative and sweet and we both share a love for Waltzingmouse stamps! Do I need to say more?

4.) Emma the Gypsy queen! I met Emma at CHA and she is just as sweet in person as she is on her videos! I have really learned alot about my gypsy watching her videos and she has become a sweet friend of mine.

5.)Carol I met Carol at my Copic certification class in April, and I have been following her blog ever since, she is very creative and sweet!
